COOKIE CARE PACKAGES It is cookie care package time for our college students! We are asking you, our congregation, to bake up some tasty cookies and bring them to church on Sunday, November 2nd. We ask for 2dozen cookies. Our church school kids will sort, package and box them up on that day.
FILL THE SILLS for FOOD PANTRIES Beginning November 2nd through November 23rd, St. Thomas congregation has an ingathering of non-perishable foods and other supplies for the Flemington Food Pantry and the Open Door Community Pantry. Please bring the following items to St. Thomas. Our church has wonderful wide, deep sills and can hold lots of donations! (See the November Newsletter for a list of items)
ITS BUNCO TIME!!! We will be having our Bunco night on Saturday, November 8th at 7pm. As always, bring a white elephant item for the prize table. This is a used or slightly used item that you no longer want. Do not wrap it. We also will have an optional service collection. This month we will be collecting new or clean, gently used coats, scarves, gloves and hats for Helping Hands-Paterson. Please RSVP to Michelle Wagner or Sandra Mikuta by Friday, November 7th.
STEWARDSHIP 2025 Many thanks to those who have already sent in their 2026 pledges. If you didn’t get a pledge card in the mail, there are some in the gallery and an electronic version is available. All pledges are due by November 16th and the official in-gathering Sunday will be November 23rd.
FALL CLEAN-UP DAY Break out your rakes, your leaf blowers, your gloves, your energy and join us on Saturday, November 22nd from 10am til dark. Rain date is Saturday, December 6th . The more hands, the lighter the workload! It’s a great time to help beautify our beautiful St. Thomas grounds and enjoy a fun day of fellowship! Mark your calendar and come!
BIBLE STUDY WITH FR. KYLE Continues through November every Tuesday 6:30 p.m. at St. Thomas and Wednesdays at 11 a.m. at Calvary.
CHRISTMAS IS COMING! Envelopes for Christmas Flower donations will be available in the church vestibule beginning November 16th. Be sure to include your dedication (memorial, gratitude, etc.). Please return your Christmas Flower Donation envelope by December 14th. And while on the subject of Christmas, please mark your calendars to help out with the Greening of the Church, which will take place after our service December 21. Many hands will make this joyful process go quickly!

FAMILY PROMISE Items can be placed in the white hamper at the front entrance near the coat closet:
· Supply Closet needs: Tissues, 13-gallon garbage bags, Q-tips, and over the counter medicine
· Hope Restored/Outreach and Engagement Team: Bottled water, hygiene items such as pads/tampons, toothpaste, floss, and mini lotion bottles.
· The Promise Center is in need of twin blankets, sheets, and household cleaning products (for this request, please email outreach@familypromisehc.org for more specific details on what is needed)
· Let’s not forget Quarters which can be placed in the “Quarter Tube” in the church hall. The quarters will be distributed to their unhoused clients for use at local laundromats.
