Good News: A Weekly Update from St Thomas—July 27th, 2017
Actions speak louder than words...
In the gospel for this coming Sunday, we see Jesus feeding the five thousand with just a few loaves of bread and a few fish. He did this, not because they demanded it, or because someone told him to, but simply because they were there. And when all had eaten and were satisfied, there were twelve baskets of leftovers. This is God’s abundant hospitality in action, and Jesus’ message to us, over and over, remains: come, and be fed – then go and do likewise.

St. Thomas Episcopal 2017 Vacation Bible School has been cancelled
Due to unforeseen difficulties, St Thomas Vacation Bible School will not take place this year.
We are trying to coordinate a special activity for our children, youth and families -- check the eblast and Sunday bulletin for more information.
Also -- Be sure to put our fall Outdoor Service and picnic on your calendar -- September 10 at 10:00 am. We are inviting our neighbors on Sky Manor and Senator Stout Roads to join us that day -- Please invite your family, friends and neighbors too!
++++++ A Heads Up: We regularly include postings from “Grow Christians” in our weekly eblast. Many of them are geared toward children and families, but they also include some that are relevant and helpful to adults.
