With wars raging in the Middle East and Ukraine and with domestic polarization at a modern-day high in the United States, it seems a fitting time to plant the idea of mutual understanding, trust and coexistence on a grassroots level. Leaders from Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Baha’i and Jain faith traditions will share prayers, readings and music for justice and peace. In our world broken with war, hatred, violence, racism, poverty and so much more strife, the Interfaith Vigil for Peace will serve as a way to come together as members of a community seeking to build a world where peace, justice and harmony are possible.
All are invited to a reception following the hour long service.
